Just got home from the Seagull Century ride with bike club friends from Easton and Cambridge. We averaged 20.1mph over the course of 100 miles. Parts of the course were really windy, but there were plenty of riders to draft which was a real saving grace.
I’m feeling good about it for my first Seagull Century. I dropped a few pounds which I think helped. Next year I’ll need to lean up even more which I think will vastly improve my riding. I can tell the difference just in the few pounds I shed. Keep will be keeping things under control over the winter. (picture is from one of the rest stops where we fueled up)
